@mroutley Thoughtful post on switching from Day One to Everlog. I am also a long-time Day One user, and the push into AI journaling has been a big turn-off for me. I’ll have a look at Everlog. It sounds very interesting.

I’ve been using Obsidian as a backup and possible alternative to Day One for the past three months. I use a plug-in called Day One Importer to bring new entries into my Obsidian vault every week. I like having a plain-text archive of my entire journal outside of Day One. But it’s also useful to link my journal with my reading and knowledge notes.
